Last Thursday, April 18, marked a significant milestone for the BIDEBA project with a fruitful kickoff meeting that brought together all project partners. This event not only underscored the collaborative spirit of our consortium but also set a robust framework for the upcoming phases of the project.

The BIDEBA project, funded by Interreg NW Europe, is designed to innovate and enhance biobased debondable adhesives, a step forward in sustainable manufacturing and recycling practices.  ACRATS Aircraft Structures is thrilled to work alongside this project’s partners: lead partner Flanders Make, Avans University of Applied Sciences, GMI aero and Delft University of Technology. We also look forward to working together with the affiliated partners, AGORIA and Impershield.

Each brings unique expertise and insights that are pivotal to the project’s success.

The kickoff meeting was hosted by Flanders Make, a Strategic Research Centre in Belgium, where project roles and responsibilities were articulated clearly. It was an opportunity for partners to align their objectives, outline the project timeline, and discuss the technical challenges ahead.

As we move forward, the BIDEBA project aims to not only develop cutting-edge solutions but also to foster a network of knowledge and innovation within the Northwest Europe region. This project is a testament to what we can achieve when academia, industry, and research institutions collaborate towards a common goal.

Stay tuned to our project site, BIDEBA.nweurope.eu, for updates as we progress through this exciting venture. We are committed to transparency and engagement throughout the project and look forward to sharing our experiences and milestones with you.
